{About Me}

I moved to Memphis in the early nineties. Lots of great bands were playing there then. I lived next to a coffee shop that had a 24-hour coin-operated shrine in the front window, the First Church of the Elvis Impersonator. I did some of the artwork for it.

I helped run Eddie World, a shop that sold vintage guitars, records, art, and ephemera. It was next to one of the best old homestyle restaurants in Memphis, The Buntyn (biscuits to die for, mile high pie).

A lot of Memphis celebrities frequented the shop, including musicians Rufus Thomas, Sam the Sham, Charlie Feathers, Tav Falco and Billy Lee Riley.
